Ghana’s most acclaimed artist, Kofi Setordji, displays his work in a range of room sets at La Maison.

New works by the acclaimed Ghanaian artist, Kofi Setordji, including paintings, sculpture and weaving will be staged at La Maison within a series of unique settings. The exhibition, entitled, Who Be Me X Designhaus, explores questions regarding humans and their purpose in life, taking in notions of identity, family, home, connection and disconnection and creativity.

The exhibition is curated by La Maison’s founder, Nada Moukarzel.

Other designers featured include Ron Arad, Tord Boontje and Patricia Urquiola to create living environments in which the viewer can imagine themselves residing or translating into their own ideas of home and identity. Which is your home? Who be you?

Setordji draws his inspiration from his immediate surroundings, the society in which he lives, from the news, from reading and his exchanges and connections with other fellow artists.

On the question of Who Be You? Setordji is clear "I am a creative, very sensitive. I know what I want and I know how to get it. I consider work to be worship. I like to enjoy life."
