The Sleaze Ball 2017

Jive Nightclub, 181 Hindley Street, Adelaide
Saturday 15th April 2017

After an almost 5 year hiatus Adelaide’s own evening dedicated to glam, trash and rock n roll returns. “The Sleaze Ball 2017” presents a series of local, interstate and international artists in a unique blend of acoustic and electric performances.

The night will be highlighted by an exclusive “one night only” acoustic performance from members of Swedish sleaze sensations CRASHDÏET. In their first performance outside of Sweden in over 2 years these 2 founding members - Peter London and Eric Young - will deliver a repertoire of tracks including many which saw them credited with launching the ‘Swedish Sleaze’ genre. Their 2005 album ‘Rest In Sleaze’ became an instant underground classic and saw Crashdiet become the first glam metal act to be signed to a major label (Universal Music) in over a decade.

The night will also feature the triumphant return of local glam rockers
Laced In Lust. Fresh off their European tour, which included a major support slot for rock legends Status Quo, Laced In Lust will be performing exclusively as a 4-piece acoustic outfit for the first time.

Also joining the party will be Australia’s hardest working glam rock band Sisters Doll in their first visit to Adelaide since their release of their latest album “All Dolled Up”. In the tradition of stadium rock acts like KISS and Motley Crue, this trio have a stage show that needs to be seen to be believed.

Finally, last but not least, The Sleaze Ball 2017 will see a reunion rivalling the Guns n Roses “Not In This Lifetime” tour. Yes, for the first time in over 3 years local boys-gone-bad Generation Swine will hit the stage with a full electric set with a performance they said would never happen.

We're delighted to announce the addition of South African sleaze rocker Don Cobra to the line up. Don is the front man for the band LA Cobra, and will be making his debut to Australian audiences in his exclusive Sleaze Ball 2017 performance. Don will be opening up the evening so make sure you get there early!
