Forge Health says
Forge is excited to announce its second Health Innovation Challenge, in collaboration with the Veteran Affairs (VA) Center for Innovation. Together we will improve healthcare for our nation’s Veterans!

What is the Health Innovation Challenge?
This is the marquee healthcare hackathon in the southeast, bringing together entrepreneurially minded engineers, clinicians, and scientists to build solutions for unmet healthcare needs over 36 intense hours. Teams are given collaborative workspace, software, and mentorship. The best teams win seed money, access to services, and expert consulting to maintain momentum as a collaboration or startup company!

Who can attend?
The Health Innovation Challenge is open to anyone with a passion for improving healthcare through technology: students, developers, engineers, clinicians, scientists, designers, marketing/PR, VA employees, business professionals, etc. Prior healthcare experience is not required; many amazing products have come from teams with no previous expertise!

What has changed since last year?
Building on the success of Forge’s 2014 Healthcare Hackathon, this year's event is going to be bigger and better! We increased the number of accepted applicants to 300, and we are excited to collaborate with the nation's largest integrated healthcare system! Plus, you'll be given awesome swag to take home and enjoy!

When is the deadline to apply?
April 1, 2015, but spots are limited, so apply today at http://challenge.forgehealth.org/apply/
