Sometimes life wins and depression and anxiety hit you like a ton of bricks. The heart of yoga is mindfulness and breath. In this 90 minute workshop, you will learn how yoga can help you regulate your emotional highs and lows. We will use breathing techniques, body flow, and stretching to manage our thoughts and emotions. You will learn how practicing mindfulness and being present can help you feel centered on those days when your emotions want to take you either too high, or too low. The goal of this workshop is to introduce you to a personal practice that will help you take control of your anxiety, depression, or stress and begin to manage your triggers and symptoms on your own. Please be aware that this workshop is meant to be taken in conjunction with a physician and/or counselor's care, not to replace professional care.

$20 per person

Rebekah is currently in her internship with Ray of Hope Counseling for her Masters of Professional Counseling. Coming from a professional dance background, Rebekah completed her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with Be Yoga's inaugural teacher training class in 2014. Her heart is to help people find their personal path to a healthy mind, body, and soul through movement therapy.
