The event creator says
From BRC center camp to ChantLanta 2016, the one and only monkey chant! Saturday afternoon, 1:15-2:15pm, in the Selah Center (upstairs). Led by Grady Cousins.

Monkey Chant, or Kecak (pronounced "KetJAK") from Bali, is a dynamic, rhythmic-interlocking, body/voice work. We work with traditional Kecak, as well as explore the rhythmic voice and drum language from 'human beat box' to various world music traditions and experimental techniques.

All sounds and movements are supported by and interact with each other, creating an experience which is at turns magical, ridiculous, joyful, and wild.

All of Chantlanta is FREE, with all donations going to Safe Girls Strong Girls. More info at
