Shabbat Service Honoring Jews Of Color

Whether Jews by birth or by choice, Jews of Color or of diverse heritage are often seen as “minorities within a minority." This exciting and uplifting Shabbat service is designed to give CBH members and friends an opportunity to expand our awareness and appreciation for Jews who are of racially and ethnically-diverse heritage in a meaningful and connected way. Nechemyah Sullivan and other Jews of Color of all ages within CBH and from the larger Jewish community will lead the service by offering prayers, new melodies and sharing their stories with the support of Rabbi Josh. We welcome all of CBH to celebrate this Shabbat, which promises to be one of CBH’s most meaningful and unforgettable Shabbat services of 2015.
