Trees Atlanta says
The 2017 event will focus on model sustainable corporate and college campuses, including Chick-fil-A, Georgia Tech’s EcoCommons, and the Living Buildings Challenge. Innovations implemented on campuses are demonstrating urban forests as an integral part of campus and city design.

We will hear from the Mayors of Brookhaven, Chamblee, Doraville, and Dunwoody who are collaborating across city boundaries for better community outcomes. Stephanie Stuckey-Benfield, Atlanta’s new Chief Resilience Officer, will address the importance of city forests in our sustainability efforts. Robert Farris, Director of the Georgia Forestry Commission will help us recognize new and renewing Tree City USA communities, Tree Line USA utility companies, and Tree Campus USA colleges.

$60 GUFC members
$75 non-members
$50 Tree City USA/Tree Board, Tree Campus USA college staff, Tree Line USA utility employees
All city mayors are our guests for the event and receive a free ticket.
