The Trans-Pacific Partnership is about more than reducing tariffs. It opens markets for U.S. goods and services and codifies rule-based trade among the 12 member countries, but just as importantly, it ensures that the U.S. writes the rules for 21st century trade.

Robert W. Holleyman II serves as Deputy United States Trade Representative assisting with major trade negotiations on behalf of the United States. David Abney has been the CEO of UPS since 2014 and its chairman since April of this year. Abney, who began his career at UPS as a part-time package loader while in college, is a member of the President’s Export Council.
