The event creator says
Georgia had a significant increase in domestic violence-related homicides in 2015. The Fatality Review Project recorded 139 domestic violence-related deaths - the highest number of deaths ever recorded by the Project in the past 10 years. 80% of these deaths were caused by firearms - the highest percentage of firearm-related deaths since the Project began recording this data 5 years ago.

Join us as we navigate a conversation centered on domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Our event will be recognizing the month of April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
