Ydatl February General Meeting With Rep. Dewey Mc Clain

Join us next Wednesday as we hear from Rep. Dewey McClain of District 100, President of the North Georgia Labor Council AFL-CIO. Rep. McClain has been a dedicated labor advocate, serving in the Georgia Council on Child Abuse, National Football League Players Association, and the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Non-Violent Change. Rep. McClain is currently cosponsoring HB-8, which is intended raise the minimum wage in GA, currently at $5.15, lower than the federal minimum wage of $7.25. We are excited to hear how we can support him and the labor movement on Wednesday!
