2015 Rabble Rouser & Fat Cat Schmoozefest

Join The Texas Observer party at the 14th Annual Rabble Rouser and Fat Cat Schmoozefest! Each year at this event, The Texas Observer recognizes community leaders and activists from throughout the state while throwing a great party with a fabulous special guest and live music! This year, join us at downtown Austin favorite The Rattle Inn for great music and a silent auction full of surprises. The professionally outspoken artist and activist Julie Gillis kicks off a fantastic program starring comedian and women's health crusader Lizz Winstead (co-creator of "The Daily Show" and Lady Parts Justice, the first NSFW, rapid-response reproductive justice hub that uses comedy, culture and digital media to get people off their asses and reclaim their rights). All event proceeds support The Texas Observer and our work to deliver top-notch investigative journalism and hold powerful interests accountable in Texas.
