Tara Bhattacharya, is from London, England by way of New York City. She has been involved with music since her early childhood days listening to her mother professionally sing Indian classical music. While in New York she interned for both Experimental Intermedia (Phil Niblock) and Incus Records (Derek Bailey), as well as LaMonte Young's Dream House. Now living in Austin, she has founded her own arts organization called Atumbra Intermedia Events. She plays Moog Synthesizer and creates visuals, last seen at COFTG's Lady Friends event at MOHA.
