Friday, March 7:00 - 9:30pm at Yoga Yoga Westlake with Amy Weintraub Let the author of Yoga for Depression and Yoga Skills for Therapists guide you through a practice to balance your mood. 80% of depression is accompanied by anxiety. In this experiential workshop-class, we will meet anxiety-based depression and other anxiety disorders with a practice of asana, pranayama, kriya, sound, and visualization, burning away the anxious mood. We’ll then slow down with calming (langhana) practices and end with an evidence-based LifeForce Yoga Nidra. Poses will be accessible for all levels, and Amy will provide appropriate application as we practice.
