Peaceful Streets Project says
On the first Wednesday of each month, the Peaceful Streets Project will hold their monthly, public meeting. This meeting is an opportunity for volunteers to plan direct actions. It is also an opportunity for new volunteers to come into the fold.

If you are new to the organization we look forward to having you get involved. We have more ideas than people willing to put ideas into action, so if you don't plan to get involved please refrain from coming with a bunch of ideas as to what you think we should be doing. However, if you want to get inolved, we look forward to hearing your ideas.

If you have been holding back from getting involved in PSP because you fear being arrested during cop watch then we encourage you to come to a meeting. We do much more than cop watch and would love for you to join us on some of our other initiatives that do not include the risk of arrest.

We will meet at Bennu Coffee on E MLK. Look for the folks with the PSP t-shirts.

Note: we do not tolerate calls for violence or bigotry at our events. We also do not permit law enforcement to attend our meetings.
