Rodney Reed has been on Texas’ death row since 1998. He was convicted of the 1996 murder of Stacey Stites in the small town of Bastrop, TX. Rodney’s case is a troubling mix of prosecutorial misconduct, police corruption, poor defense, and institutional racism. Evidence of Rodney’s innocence is overwhelming and the need for a new trial is indisputable.
Get involved today to save the life of an innocent man. Demand that the Governor grant clemency and stop the execution. Ask the Attorney General to allow DNA testing that has never performed on crucial pieces of evidence. Test the DNA! Drop the Date!
