This public outreach lecture by visiting scientist Dr. Nathan Morehouse is a special event for Art.Science.Gallery's evolution-themed art exhibit in conjunction with the 2016 joint annual meeting of the Society for the Study of Evolution (SSE), the Society of Systematic Biologists (SSB), and the American Society of Naturalists (ASN) in Austin, TX.

Dr. Morehouse will discuss the evolution of seeing and is an Assistant Professor of Biology at the University of Pittsburgh where he studies the evolution of animal coloration. This event is generously sponsored by the Evolution 2016 meetings.

ABOUT EVOLUTION 2016
Evolution 2016 is the joint conference of the American Society of Naturalists, the Society for the Study of Evolution, and the Society of Systematic Biologists that will be held at the Austin Convention Center from June 17-21, 2016. The meeting is a premier opportunity for academics to share their research on evolutionary biology and expects 2000+ attendees, over 1,000 talks, and hundreds of scientific posters.
