Thinkery21: New Habits, New Hobbies

Thinkery21 is BACK! It’s the first Thinkery21 of 2015- let’s kick it off with baking, making, improv, fashion, and more! We have a slew of guests ready to show off fun activities and hobbies for you to check out in the new year. * Breakup with 2014 and welcome in 2015! Throughout the night we’ll be writing “breakup letters” to last year. We’ll be joined by the talents from comedy and improv school The New Movement, who will select a few of these letters to inspire fast, smart improv comedy. * Make and create with ATX Hackerspace. They’ll be located in multiple spots around the museum, showing off a number of innovative projects. * Austin School of Fashion Design will be on hand for some on-site fashionable projects! * Kitchen Lab will be smelling delicious with a baking demo from I Knead That, “good baked goods using good ingredients”. They’ll also be sharing promotional information about Sweetiegrams , their bicycle-delivered Valentine treats. * Central Texas Discover Engineering will show you how to get hands-on with science and engineering in local classrooms, plus you can sign up to volunteer on the spot. * To kick off healthy eating habits this year, Juice Austin will be joining us with warm drinks, juices & salads. * All-natural, vegetarian/vegan mobile food truck Guac N Roll will be serving up guacamole, salsa, tamales, burritos, nachos and more! * Plus, explore the Thinkery’s permanent exhibits & activities in a setting exclusively for 21 & up, with music, drinks, & more! Admission: Order tickets now. Tickets are $15 per person ($13 for Members), $20 onsite ($18 for Members). Please note: Thinkery21 is for adults 21+ only. There will be a cash bar (please bring cash as there’s not an ATM on site).
