9:30-11 Huerta Culture
11:30-close Los Kurados

*Huerta Culture plays dance music for parties. The band mixes cumbia, ska, reggae, hip-hop, blues, rock, and balkan influences to create a sound that has been dubbed 'psichocumbia'. With 4 singers in the band sometimes all switching verses throughout a song and singing in English, Spanish, and Quechua (an indigenous language of Bolivia), Huerta Culture keeps arrangements dynamic and eclectic. The phat bass and rhythmic keys are accompanied by a wizard trumpet. Some songs also feature the guacharaca and the Andean pan pipes. In 2014 Huerta Culture released the full length album HOMEGROWN. Check it out at http://www.cdbaby.com/m/cd/huertaculture
Huerta Culture is also happy to have been included on this compilation album recently distributed at the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) in New York. https://www.facebook.com/huertaculture/posts/895360563836123

*Los Kurados is the only Austin band playing ska in Espanol. They will make you jump! The band often incites a friendly mosh pit or crazy congo line in front of the stage. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Los-Kurados/358116840936103?fref=ts Los Kurados were included on this compilation album recently distributed at the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC) in New York. https://www.facebook.com/huertaculture/posts/895360563836123
