Time Out says

It's almost that time of the year again when DJs, Producers, Vocalists, and people doing amazing things in music have the opportunity to apply for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in the Red Bull Music Academy. Join Dub Academy and Red Bull this Sunday as we host a screening of What Difference Does it Make: A Film About Making Music, followed by a Q&A session for those interested in applying for the academy (applications are due March 4 and we will have copies on hand to give out). Of course we'll have plenty of Red Bull on hand to help get you all hyped up about filling out that application! More about RBMA: The Red Bull Music Academy is a world-traveling series of workshops and festivals: a platform for those who make a difference in today's musical landscape. Two groups of 30 selected participants – producers, vocalists, DJs, instrumentalists and all-round musical mavericks from around the world – come together in a new city each year for two weeks worth of recording sessions, lectures by musical luminaries, collaborations and performances in the city’s best clubs and music halls. If you can imagine a place that’s equal parts science lab, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and Kraftwerk’s home studio, you’re halfway there. The Academy began back in 1998, and has been traversing the globe since: from Berlin to Cape Town, São Paulo, Barcelona, London, Toronto, New York and beyond. In 2015, the Academy is being held in Paris, France.
