The MACBA and the CaixaForum present their first exhibition organised together and held at the same time in both places. This selection of the collections of both museums explores the concept of modernity and its relationship with the avant-garde as part of our history. The exhibition brings together 400 works by 125 artists, including Joseph Beuys, Joan Brossa, Eduardo Chillida, Paul Klee and Gerhard Richter.
