The Teatre Grec, located on Montjuïc, was built for the 1929 Barcelona International Exposition. Inspired by the Greek Epidaurus theatre, the Grec was designed by architects Ramon Reventós and Nicolau Maria Rubió i Tudurí. It has been home to Barcelona's summertime outdoor cultural event, the Festival Grec, since 1976.
