These three true American jazz legends include Charles Davis, who has played with the orchestras of Billie Holiday and Ben Webster as well as shared the stage with John Coltrane and Ahmad Jamal; Jimmy Wormworth, with a CV that includes playing drums with Art Farmer, Kenny Dorham, Charlie Rouse and Lou Donaldson; and Putter Smith, who has played bass at the service of Thelonious Monk, Art Blakey, Art Pepper and Ray Charles. Mike Kanan on piano and Jordi Rossy on vibraphone will be the lucky students attending this outstanding lecture.
