Anti-Kriegs-Museum

The original Anti-War Museum was founded in 1925 by Ernst Friedrich. In 1933, it was destroyed by the Nazis, and Friedrich fled to Brussels. There he had another museum until 1940, when the Nazis again destroyed his work. In 1982, a group of teachers re-established this museum in Berlin. It now hosts a permanent display including World War I photos and artefacts from the original museum, children's war toys, and anti-Semitic material from the Nazi era.
