Time Out says
The Delphi was originally a popular 1920s dance palace. Bombed out during the war, it was rebuilt as the Delphi Filmpalast and became a major Cinemascope and 70mm venue where films such as Ben Hur and My Fair Lady would run for up to a year. It has a traditional atmosphere and the city's last working balcony.
