Yo! Sushi (CLOSED)

This British-based chain marries the kitschy fun of conveyor-belt nigiri with a menu that’s actually worth slowing down for (this is the chain’s first city outpost in the US). The anime-inspired, white-on-white interior announces the fun from the moment you step through the door. Small plates come fresh from the open kitchen to the conveyor belt surrounding it and include not just maki rolls but also crispy chicken wings, hoisin duck buns and kimchi squid.  You can also opt for the à la carte menu but please be sure to order a ramune soda, nicknamed the “marble soda” for its high-concept packaging (you’ll see what we’re talking about).
