Take a romantic, candlelit crypt tour

The historic downtown church and burying ground is opening up its underground crypt for candlelit tours on weekends throughout the month. As guests explore the more than 20 tombs underneath the chapel, they’ll learn all about “American mourning traditions, funeral customs and burial practices as they relate to the loss of a loved one throughout Boston's history.” Frankly, that sounds both weirdly romantic and macabre at the same time, so sign us up.
