The glamorously spectacled superstar Elton John has added multiple Australia dates to his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. Starting in September last year, the tour has crocodile rocked through five continents in over 300 performances, and now it's Queensland's turn. Kicking off his Australia run in Perth, John will be showering the Sunshine Coast and Townsville with hits in February and March 2020.

Elton fans will be able to hear the award-winning pop hero belt out everything from ‘Tiny Dancer’ to ‘Benny and the Jets’ and, of course, a sophisticated ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight’, as well as fresher tracks from his 13th studio album, Wonderful Crazy Night.

And since the globally adored artist has announced that this will be his final tour, you’ll want to be at these last ever local shows. It’s going to be a pretty huge moment, farewelling the rocket man, burning out his final fuse.

The Sunshine Coast gig will be held at Sunshine Coast Stadium on Tuesday March 3 and Wednesday March 4, and the Townsville performance will be brightening the North Queensland Stadium on Saturday February 29. And if you're down for a bit of a road trip slash Elton pilgrimage, he's playing in Coffs Harbour at the C.ex Coffs International Stadium on Tuesday February 25 and Wednesday February 26.
