Appetite For Destruction 30th Anniversary Crowbar 18+ says
On July 21st, 1987, Guns N' Roses released their debut album Appetite For Destruction. Despite Geffen considering cutting it's losses on the album after selling 200,000 copies in the first year, a 4am spin of the Welcome To The Jungle video on MTV helped the album explode into a global phenomenon. Appetite For Destruction not only became the biggest-selling debut album in the world, it also changed the course of rock 'n' roll and continues to inspire countless young artists to this day. Not bad for a band who penned it's lyrics on empty pizza boxes.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of it's release, riff lords MofoIsDead will be performing AFD live in full at Brisbane's iconic Crowbar on July 21st, 2017.

"Hearing that record for the first time literally changed the course of my life. Had 'Appetite For Destruction' not existed I'd probably be playing cricket for Australia instead of shredding stages for milkshake money." - Paul Galagher
