Command Q:
Following the release of their debut EP ‘Man The Machines’ with ‘Get Loaded Records’, Perth based COMMAND Q have gone from strength to strength in 2014. Coming off the back of their first national tour, including many sell-out shows, the boys have landed heavy support slots with the likes of UZ and New World Sound, ETC!ETC! along with chopping-up local clubs with their high energy, heavy and unique live show.
With recent online releases having attracted many tens of thousands of views, listens and downloads after gaining features from social heavyweights Trap & Bass and Trap Sounds; COMMAND Q have also enjoyed support and radio play from Dom Alessio and Rosie Beaton with both spinning one record from the EP and an official remix of Tkay Maidza’s banga ‘Brontosaurus’ on Triple J Radio, as well as heavy Triple J Unearthed rotations.
2015 sees no slowing down in the Command Q nerve centre with many more big tracks ready for release and talks of a record deal being just around the corner.
Members Shaun Off Beat and Lou Harvey use their musical knowledge and extensive performance experience gained from classical music training at the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts to create energetic hip hop infused bass music, all performed with live percussion and drums.
They don’t disappoint, become an animal with them…

Hatch:
It all began at the tender age of 5 when a young Hatch picked up his first violin. Years of classical training here and on the piano became an outlet for the music that flowed through his veins.

A tremendously talented musician, Hatch has enjoyed great success in the bass music scene in Australia for many years as Pop The Hatch. Supported names like Rusko and Benga as well as being a mainstay at DEFQON1 with numerous releases on labels such as Ministry of Sound, Top Billin and Play Me Records.

Hatch is now entering a new era, recalling his classical training and emerging as one of the most diverse and emotive young producers in Australia. Approaching every project with great introspection and articulation, whether it be on a remix or an original work, you will be moved by the unmistakable sounds of Hatch.

After a huge response to his ReHatched bootleg series and remixes for Danny T, Jam Xpress and Ben Pearce already making waves, the anticipation for Hatch’s debut original works are at an all time high. Keep your ears open in 2014, something special is coming.
