Continuing on the wild antics of Fire Night I, comes Fire Night II.

Presented by DBL Team, Strictly For The Heads, Kick Push PR and The Zoo.

DBL Team, Strictly For The Heads and Kick Push PR have teamed again after a successful start to the year with ‘Fire Night I’.

On Thursday the 11th of February, The Zoo will hosting round two of ‘Fire Night’ to continue this new platform for local hip-hop talent within Brisbane and outer-regions.

For the Hip-Hop heads out there, they can be assured that this show is going to be just as wild and entertaining as the last with a huge line up of dedicated emerging artists.

Starting the Fire for the night is Hedron Collective and their burst of colour with eclectic synths, gliding bass lines and lyrics that are spat out which never beat around the bush. The collective is made up of Ryan Cheney (producer), emerging DJ YAAS and potent vocalist, ‘september’. ‘Hedron’, the first release by the collective is a six track EP (released late last year) which may have flown under the radar, but as far as underground Hip-Hop goes, it has the potential to be their secret weapon to break out in 2016.

Passing it on to the left, Nasteski naturally puts the audience in a trance with the eclectic variation in their tracks. With the unique element of a live band they flow from hypnotising electronica to punk-rock rage to the very intimate, jazz like inspired feels with smooth yet haunting backing vocal melodies. This act is not to be missed on this prestigious Brisbane stage.

Undeniably raw and nasty, Jesswar is back at it again with her trap and pop inspired hip-hop. Since gaining serious attention in 2014 with her debut EP ‘Peachy’, she returned in late 2015 with a fresh single ‘This Train’ which has already been played nationally over commercial radio. 2016 will be a huge year for Jesswar with her debut album ‘Juicy’ being released with plans for an East Coast tour as well as taking the album overseas.

Travelling interstate, this young rapper from Port Macquarie is bringing a new wave response to Australian Hip-Hop. TJ had made a unique debut last year with a series of live video releases entitled Project [46] (view here) that incorporates stunning visual projections and art installations, abstract contemporary dance choreographies, and flawless rhymes over the industrial like instrumentation in his beats that overall provided an awe-inspiring performance. His appearance in Brisbane for ‘Fire Night’ will continue to build the hype around his first official EP release which is expected to drop later this year.

Also performing at FireNight is special guest Kraznov, producer of killer beats who has recently joined the crew at G.A.K.

Doors to the event will open at 7:30pm with the purchase of presale tickets at $10 and $15 entry on the night.
