The Milk Factory says
Harley Young Music is a Brisbane born and currently Paris based alt pop musician.

In 2015 he and his trusty band The Haymakers released Flinders Parade; a 12 track dedication to the beautiful, weird and outsider suburb of Sandgate, Brisbane.

The single Margate GF earned Harley and his Haymakers plenty of love from the likes of 4zzz, Radio National and Triple J. The album also got some nice reviews from the Australian press with the The Courier Mail and The Music giving it 4/5 stars and the The AU Review 9.2/10.

Harley will be gracing Australia’s shores for a short visit and show at The Milk Factory on Sunday 21st February starting at 4pm with a bundle of new songs and fresh new copies of Flinders Parade.

He will be joined by Hands On Heart, the exciting new project of former Go Go Fish and Haymakers’ drummer Ash Shanahan.

Hands On Heart sees Shanahan at the helm of the project, taking on the roles of songwriter, vocalist, guitarist and arranger as well as wielding her menacing drumsticks of doom. Her debut single Goodbye!, produced by ex-bandmate and now bass player extraordinaire Scott Mercer, sets the bar high.
