Join artists and curators for a Maiwar in conversation session at Museum of Brisbane.

Maiwar, the traditional word used to refer to the waterway now known as the Brisbane River, is a visual art exhibition of contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists in Council’s Outdoor Gallery.

Curated by a Brisbane-based collective Blaklash, the exhibition features Judy Watson, Hannah Brontë, Glennys Briggs, Archie Moore, Megan Cope, Ryan Presley , Danie Mellor, Elisa Jane Carmichael, Brook Andrew and Gordon Hookey.

Explore the Vibrant Laneways Outdoor Gallery including King George Square Car Park, Hutton Lane, Giffin Lane, Eagle Lane, Fish Lane and projections onto William Jolly Bridge and an installation at the Museum of Brisbane from 1 July-31 July 2016 as part of Black History Month.
