This world-first exhibition is an opportunity for audiences to intimately discover both Cunxin’s moving personal narrative and his remarkable artistic achievements. You’ve probably heard of – or even read – the book, Mao’s Last Dancer, and seen the film. Everyone from hardcore fans to the "made to read the book in school" crowd will get a kick out of the exhibition, which features new interviews, performance footage and personal items. Plus Li Cunxin is now a Brissie local, so you'll be supporting your own citizens. On at the Museum of Brisbane (on Adelaide Street) from 1 December until April 29, it’s super easy to get to and can be slotted into a day of Christmas shopping.
