Jake Whittaker Music

Jake Whittaker, emerging Brisbane/Gold Coast artist, is quickly establishing a name for himself in the Aussie music scene. His easy-going nature and love of his craft is always evident on stage and embraced by his audiences. Jake has a unique and varied sound in his original work. With stirrings of soul and funk, the pop/rock sounds of Jake Whittaker are groovy and melodic, quickly pulling you into the funky, feel-good beats.

Jake Whittaker released his debut EP, aptly entitled Hit the Ground Running, to a sell-out Brisbane crowd. Catch a live gig and experience the high-energy, warm sincerity and genuine nature of this young artist and his music. Performing either solo or with his backing band, Jake’s passion is to bring his original brand of music to his live audience.



Toby Robinson

Toby Robinson is the former frontman for alt-country band, The Promises. His debut single, Let You Down, evokes the romanticism of folk with a nod to pop. Two years in the making, Toby’s self-titled album was created in collaboration with his great friends adn bandmates, Rob Kidd and Craig Hadlow, and producer Nick Huggins. With diverse influences ranging from Ry Cooder, John Renbourne, and The Shins to Nick Drake and The Cure, Toby’s album celebrates the story of his musical roots through a unique blend of folk, alt-country and indie pop.
