As part of the programme celebrating Bristol's year as European Green Capital, Richard Long focuses on the area where he grew up and still lives, using it as the start and end point for many of his early walks and text works.
The exhibition features several new artworks and recreations of previous pieces, including sculpture, drawing, photography and text spanning from 1967 to the present day.
Expect to see an exploration into his personal relationship with the area and with the local materials, as Long also looks at how ideas and language develped in the earlier stages of his career have helped shape how he understands his world and creates art today.
