Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

Cosy family-friendly café that offers a top-notch all-day breakfast, alongside meze and smoothies. Take advantage of the courtyard seating in the warmer months

A Gloucester Road favourite, this family-run business offers welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. Fair trade Ethiopian coffee from Brian Wogan is served with Somerset milk, alongside a welcoming breakfast and lunch menu.

Forget modern, industrial interiors and think cosy, intimate and family-friendly. The menus are displayed on huge blackboards, and there really is something for everyone. There’s a cracking all-day breakfast and a selection of smoothies to choose from for a sustaining first meal of the day.

The lunch options are varied and span from meze and wraps to jacket potatoes, burgers and salads. The meze is a particular highlight, offering a selection of falafels, smoky baba ganoush, homemade hummus and crunchy salads.

With a leafy courtyard for the summer months and a warm, colourful interior, Cafe Ronak is a great choice whatever the weather.
