Sarge did two tours in Vietnam, and this Rogers Park bar, which he’s owned for around two decades, is a shrine to his Marine Corps roots. He’s plastered military pictures, flak jackets, packs and other paraphernalia on the walls, while camouflage netting hangs from the ceiling and above the pool table. After buying you a shot of “jungle juice,” Sarge will pull up a stool and fill your ear with stories about chasing “Charlies” and keeping out the Rogers Park riffraff. Semper fi!
