This morning, Riot Fest organizers announced that the music festival will indeed be returning to Humboldt Park in 2015, September 11–13. A limited number of advance three-day general admission tickets for $89.98 will go on sale tomorrow, November 25, at 10am.
If $90 stretches your wallet, there is a new way to work for tickets. Riot Fest also announced a new program to pay for passes called Karma Cash. The Karma Cash program allows someone to earn one general admission three-day pass by completing 25 hours of volunteer work at a registered 501c3 organization. Register at firstname.lastname@example.org. Documentation must be submitted by January 25.

Just one week ago, Riot Fest announced that repairs to Humboldt Park had been completed. Heavy rains and foot traffic at the 2014 festival caused damages to the grounds. A press release announced: "Disturbed areas of the park have been graded, reseeded with a high quality turf mix, topsoil has been added and the soil has been aerated to encourage root growth in order to produce a stronger lawn. Moreover, fencing has been installed to protect newly prepped areas."
