Stepping in to partially fill the hole left by Just for Laughs, The Onion and its sister site, The A.V. Club, are launching a June comedy festival in Chicago. What the publications are pitching as the first annual 26th Annual Comedy Festival will bring Comedy Bang! Bang! Live!, Tig Notaro, Kyle Kinane and Marc Maron to the Athenaeum Theatre June 12–14.

Comedy Bang! Bang! host Scott Aukerman will presumably welcome an as-yet-unknown lineup of guests to his show, Thursday, June 12 at 7:30pm. Notaro and Kinane will double-bill a pair of shows Friday, June 13 at 7 and 10pm, while Maron headlines Saturday, June 14 at 7:30pm.

Three-day passes go on sale tomorrow, March 25, at 10am, with individual tickets to follow Friday, March 28.
