The Taste of Chicago may have rained out on Saturday, but there were plenty of other street festivals picking up the slack around town this weekend. Lincoln Square hosted Square Roots Festival, an annual bash featuring live music booked by the Old Town School of Folk Music and an extensive craft beer garden. Local artists and food vendors braved the grey skies, bringing colorful creations and delicious dishes (including a mac and cheese sandwich) to the neighborhood's crowded streets.
