Arcade Fire + The Breeders

It's unrealistic to expect a band to go through its entire career without releasing at least one dud of an album. For Arcade Fire, it's Everything Now, a record that attempts to take a satirical look at the on-demand nature of modern society—instead, the relentlessly cynical selection of uninspired dance rock tracks is simply a bore. However, the Canadian group hasn't discarded the jubilant tone of its live shows. Sure, you'll have to listen to a couple renditions of "Infinite Content," but all your favorite tunes from Funeral and The Suburbs are still the focus of the indie superstars' triumphant arena rock experience. Former Pixies bassist Kim Deal and the latest incarnation of her alt-rock band, the Breeders, open the show.
