Time Out says
Back in classical music’s heyday, “house concerts” were all the rage. Musicians would gather ’round the host’s piano and perform impromptu recitals for everyone assembled. Local impresario Fredda Hyman continues this tradition in the West Loop space by inviting fresh-faced chamber ensembles. She also has a taste for contemporary music, which she feeds by featuring a composer-in-residence in her series. This year’s is Conrad Tao, a teenage violin prodigy.
