After teasing us with a video soundtracked by polka-style covers of familiar songs, the first wave of the Riot Fest 2018 lineup has arrived. We correctly guessed that Alkaline Trio, Beck, Blondie, Elvis Costello & the Imposters and Jerry Lee Lewis will be among the top-billed acts at the Douglas Park festival. They'll be joined by artists like pop-punk stalwarts Blink-182, alt-rock outfit Incubus, California pop act Young the Giant, indie-rockers Interpol and sardonic singer-songwriter Father John Misty. Of those acts, Beck and Blink-182 will be headlining—a third headliner will be announced in the coming weeks.

The rest of the Riot Fest lineup is an eclectic mix of punk, hip-hop, indie rock and metal that evokes Lollapalooza's ‘90s-era heyday, featuring appearances from reunited post-hardcore act the Jesus Lizard and ‘90s indie star Liz Phair. Other highlights of the lineup include Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas' new group the Voidz, local rockers Twin Peaks, post-punk legends Killing Joke and metalcore act Underoath. Naturally, Andrew W.K. and GWAR are also confirmed for the weekend—it wouldn't feel like Riot Fest without them.

Take a look at the first wave of the Riot Fest lineup below and stay tuned for additional announcements ahead of the September event.
