The interior is hardcore bare-bones diner, but the look of this place is deceiving. In the kitchen, cooks are rolling out fresh pastas, curing salmon and topping French toast with vanilla-mascarpone butter. The result is delicious food—such as a particularly memorable bolognese—that’s far and away better than almost any other diner in town, but at pretty much the same price point.
