Bank of American Chicago Marathon: Elite Start

An unusually warm October morning didn't deter participants in this year's Chicago Marathon as thousands of runners set out from Millennium Park across the city-spanning course. 26-year old Moses Mosop of Kenya won this year's race, setting a new course record of 2 hours, 5 minutes, 37 seconds. Russia's 33-year old Liliya Shobukhova was the first woman to cross the finish line, making her way through the course in 2 hours, 18 minutes, 20 seconds. We were out at the marathon's start and finish, for a look at the elite athletes as they set out on the course and at the completion of their 26.2 mile journey.
