Disaster!

Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick’s gleefully over-the-top spoof of ’70s disaster flicks like The Towering Inferno and The Poseidon Adventure repurposes pop songs of the AM-radio era to soundtrack its tale of a doomed discotheque. Chicago Theatre Workshop plans to stage this regional premiere as an “immersive” production. The cast includes Nathan Cooper, Shannon McEldowney, Warren Dailey, Dan Gold, Charlie Ward, Elissa Newcorn, Pierce Cleaveland, Jessica Vann, Britain Gebhardt, Melissa Young, Shane Roberie, Marcellus Burt, Kaleb Van Rijswijck, Lily Cox and Kara Schoenhofer.
