Lookingglass Theatre Company announced today that this fall's remount of Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses will include seven members of the original 1998 cast. Anjali Bhimani, Lawrence E. DiStasi, Marilyn Dodds Frank, Raymond Fox, Douglas Hara, Chris Kipiniak and Louise Lamson, all of whom opened Zimmerman's adaptation of Ovid's myths in 1998 at the now-defunct Ivanhoe Theatre, will reunite for the production; they'll be joined by Anne Fogarty, a replacement in the original run, and new cast members Usman Ally and Lauren Orkus.

The new production, which opens Lookingglass's 25th season and coincides with the tenth anniversary of the play's Broadway production—for which Zimmerman became just the second woman to win the Tony Award for direction of a play—runs September 19–November 18 at Lookingglass; in February, it moves to Washington, D.C.'s Arena Stage.
