Chicago is a city full of people who know how to wait in line. We’re the kind of gluttons for punishment who willingly subject ourselves to five-hour waits, just to eat duck-fat fries and a foie-gras hot dog one more time before Hot Doug’s shuts its doors. So, when Apple announced the new iPhone 6 (featuring a larger screen and a complimentary U2 album), we knew Chicagoans wouldn't miss a chance to stand along the sidewalk for hours on end. We took a trip to the Michigan Avenue Apple Store to find out what drove these early adopters to queue up for the iPhone 6.
