The Kingston is a safe Downtown option, conveniently located near many central attractions and restaurants. A family-owned and -operated hotel in a 1910 heritage building, it offers a range of single, twin and double rooms. Note that not all rooms include private bathrooms.

The Sylvia Hotel
Situated on English Bay just steps from Stanley Park, The Sylvia started out in 1912 as an apartment block. In 1954, the hotel opened the first cocktail bar in Vancouver, which remains a popular spot today. Atmospheric Virginia creeper covers the building, which serves as something of a local landmark nowadays.

Listed among the trendiest hotels in the world, the Opus Vancouver is a boutique hotel designed and styled for impact.
