Center for the Collaborative Classroom says
Which teaching practices develop a love and appreciation of reading and help our youngest learners see themselves as readers and writers? How do we differentiate for the diverse levels in our K–2 classrooms? How do we help children develop as independent readers and writers who take responsibility for their own learning as members of a collaborative classroom?

This day of professional learning is designed for K–2 educators who want to strengthen their practice and respond to student needs with focused, deliberate instruction. Participants are encouraged to attend in teams to support the adult collaboration within a school or district.
